Vision Screening October 27, 2021
The Springfield Lions Club will return to Weathersfield School to screen all students K-8 with the Welch Allyn Spot Vision Screener. The Welch Allyn Spot Vision Screener, is a top of the line, handheld, portable device that can quickly detect vision issues. This machine has been clinically shown to be more efficient than traditional screening tools used by schools.
As part of the health services program at Weathersfield School, basic vision screening exams are done to detect problems that might interfere with your child’s school performance. This basic screening exam is not a substitute for a regular annual physical exam by your child’s healthcare provider.
The Lions Club donates their time and materials to ensure that all students have accurate vision screenings. Thank you Lions Club!
If you do not want your child screened on October 27th please call the school at 802-674-5400 and let us know.
Thanks,
Emily Stevens
